Park Report 6-28-08

We had approximately 20 people out today in all.

Everybody showed up a little after 1:00 PM, for the most part, and we started off with some jugging, as per F'lar's suggestion on the PV list. We haven't had jugging at the park in years. Since most of the people who played never jugged before, it was fairly unbalanced, but we still had fun for the most part. We got 5 rounds of jugging off before everybody got tired of losing so badly.

We had an althing in which people voted for whether or not we were going to pay for our P.O. Box. The vote passed the althing. Additional topics of discussion included Harvest War and GM elections. There is also some hideous rumor of people being able to assault me freely with baked goods, to which I raised serious objection and confusion.

Projects for the Next 2 Weeks

I have a number of projects that I am currently working on(about to start), mostly since the Cub Scouts broke all of my non-loaner equipment and I don't want to be using a PVC sword(all the time, at least). Pictures will show up if I can magically get an adapter so that I can plug my digital camera in(it uses a 9-pin serial cable, and I have no 9-pin serial port on any of my machines). Here is a tentative list of projects:

1) Swords. All my weapons are currently broken and need to be rebuilt or repaired somehow. My sword tech doesn't last more than around 5 or 6 months typically, but I may still include pictures for later reference. Additionally, I would like to maybe build a few flatblades so I have something prettyful for court use.

Frustration

You know, it's just been one of those days, I guess. I suddenly have a lot of frustration and nothing to do with it. It's worse because I suddenly find myself unable to feel legitimate anger, and I feel as though I may have changed drastically from what I consider(ed) myself to be. Every different part of life has its own set of dead-ends, and I'm pretty fed-up with it all, frankly. I would feel so relieved if I had some way to let out some of my frustration.

The Gist of Things: Life sucks, I hate it all, and I want a very large hammer.

Oh Really?

Yesterday I was banned from E-sam. It was funny.

Today, I logged in here, and found that this site has no inherit coding issues that I could find. Unfortunately, there is also no real content that I could find, but that should fix itself.

Also, I found an interesting political article. You should read it, it's at http://dailygleaner.canadaeast.com/liveit/article/190560
